Journey to the Libs

As the main part of the website, I wrote a comprehensive article for each library I covered. The articles includes these sections:

• “Introduction”: includes a brief summary of the library, as well as the community near it.

• “Appearance”: describes the appearance of the library when looking outside, in addition to the photo of its entrance.

• “Facilities”: provides an overview of the library’s facilities. Photos serve as the predominant part of the section, which usually include 10 to 15 photos, depending on the size of the library.

• “Contact”: offers basic information of the library, such as the address and opening hours.

• “Transportation”: provides some transportation routes of the library, with hyperlinks provided for certain routes. In addition, I took videos about the walking routes from the nearest bus stop or MTR station to the library, as some library may be situated at locations that are rather less well-known or even quiet.

• “Questions and Answers”: contains some questions that viewers may ask during visiting the library.

• “P.S.”: indicates my feeling and experience when I visit the library.

Danny and the Libs

A video series introducing some high-tech facilities that may not receive adequate promotion before. The videos, recorded in both front and back camera of my phone, usually provide a step-by-step guide on how to use such facilities, along with some comments from Danny, the main character of the videos.

Worldwide Library Bulletin

A category specialised in content curation, as I find some interesting news from libraries around the world, including Hong Kong. The curated articles contain not only translations of the original ones, but also my own opinions or comparison between the places mentioned and Hong Kong regarding the topic concerned.
